Purpose of Wiki

The ZWR Rift is meant to be a central place for zombies players to find information, mainly focused on world record strategies and map-specific details. The idea is to build a hub where everything related to competitive play of maps and categories can be found in one spot, compared to being scattered around various communities.

The Rift serves as a platform for knowledge and passionate community members to share their fact-based information about the maps and strategies they know. This allows new players, or less experienced players, to easily find technical details and strategy guidance, as well as remain up to date with changes.

Overall, the Rift should feel like a one stop shop for competitive zombie players. Whether you’re trying to learn the basics of a map, push for world records, or see how others have achieved their records, it’s all collected here so the community doesn’t have to dig through different sources.

Style Guide

  • All pages must be written in English (for now).

  • Grammar (complete sentence structures) and punctuation should be clear and easy to understand. Absolute perfection is not required, but the text must be reasonably readable.

  • The title  should explain the primary topic of the page, and be generally understandable

    • The first letter of each word should be capitalized (with the exception of prepositions).

    • Title should be easily distinguishable from related content

    • Game title and Map name are determined when submitted so it is not needed in the title unless a distinction is beneficial for clarity.

    • Title must be atleast 5 characters and must be no larger than 150 characters

  • Descriptions should include a brief description that includes key search words in order to ensure users are able to find the information they desire fast and efficiently. It must be atleast 5 characters and must be no larger than 10000 characters

  • When using acronyms, spell them out at least once (preferably in parentheses) or provide a key with their full meaning. This applies even if the acronym seems obvious, since understanding can vary and the goal is to inform even new community members.

  • Whenever possible, link to other wiki pages to help build a connected, web-like structure.

  • A template is available to better organize your submissions in a specific category. It is not required to use this template, but it is recommended to use and start developing your page. For writing structure, refer to the style guide for more specifics.

  • Content body must be atleast 5 characters and must be no larger than 100000 characters
