Definitions

For clarity in this document:

  • Submitter means the person providing content to the wiki.

  • Contributor means the person who submits edits to the wiki.

  • Publisher means Zombies World Records (ZWR), including staff who review or approve content.

  • Submission means any content given to ZWR for consideration.

  • Publication means when a Submission is made public on the ZWR site.

  • Content means all material that forms part of a Submission or Publication.

Nature of Submission

  1. When you submit content, you are creating a collaborative work between yourself and ZWR. Once published, the content becomes publicly available and shared information. At that point, you give up any claim of sole ownership and cannot bring copyright infringement claims against any parties.
  2. As a Contributor, your edit and additions may be approved or denied by the publisher for any reason which can’t reasonably be defended as a violation of the content and style standards of the wiki. Contributors, just like all other parties, have no claim to copyright infringement.

License Grant

By submitting or contributing, you allow ZWR to use, edit, share, and publish your content on the wiki. This permission is ongoing, worldwide, and free of charge, and it exists to support the goals and principles of the wiki.

Collaboration and Rights of the Submitter, Contributor and Publisher

  1. Submissions may be edited at any time by ZWR staff to keep them in line with style and content standards.
  2. ZWR may remove or hide content at any time if it does not meet the rules and principles of the wiki. This removal only applies to the ZWR site. Once content is published, neither ZWR nor the Submitter or Contributor can claim exclusive copyright.
  3. Requests from Submitters to remove their content will only be considered if they align with the wiki’s rules and standards, and may be denied by ZWR.
  4. Submitters and Contributors can ask to have their name or identity removed from attribution on a page, but ZWR will keep confidential records of who submitted for accountability.
  5. Submitters and Contributors can always request an explanation from ZWR about actions taken on their content. ZWR may also share this reasoning with others at its discretion.

Responsibilities of the Parties

Submitters are responsible for following the style and content rules when making submissions. Contributors are responsible for following the style and content rules, and ensure their changes are accurate and benefit the wiki. ZWR is responsible for respecting the rights of Submitters and Contributors as laid out here.

Disclaimer

ZWR does not guarantee that published content is accurate, complete, or reliable, and is not responsible for mistakes, missing details, or how others may use the content. Submitters and Contributors are responsible for making sure their contributions are accurate and do not infringe on the rights of the other parties as well as the the content and style standards.

Consequences of Infringement

There are no punishments for not meeting content or style standards. Non-compliant submissions or contributions may simply be edited or denied. All content is judged on its own merits, not on who submitted it.

Amendments to Terms

ZWR may update these terms at any time. By continuing to submit content after changes are published, Submitters agree to the updated version.
